Amazing place, highly recommended – Luxury camping with all needed facilities. First of all we want to say a great thank for our romantic diner in front of fireplace. The atmosphere was fantastic! The camp is really cozy. In the tent was very clean. My white socks remained white! The staff was very attentive and gave us good recommendations for our morning game drive. If we will plan to visit Samburu again, we will stay here again with no doubt.” Ksenia (Russia)

Great find. True African adventure experience – Very enjoyable and just what we wanted. Had an en-suite tent which was perfect. The staff are really helpful and did everything they could… for example arranging for lunch as a picnic that we took to a glade by the river. This is a great option for a ‘reasonable price’ stay in Samburu. Saw all of the ‘special five’ animals (Ostrich, Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra, Retic Giraffe and Beisa Oryx) but also Greater Kudu, Lion and a Cheetah with three cubs…. Fantastic! The park has a nicer more individual atmosphere than some others in Kenya.Highly recommended.” Vishaldeep (USA)

An incredible experience! – It was a surprise, the shower is the typical shower that you can expect of a lodge inside a Natural Park. We were informed that some animals could be seen in the camping. But unfortunately it was our case. 😉 Nice staff. Incredibly experience, super recommended.” Anonymous (Spain)

Was an excellent alternative to staying in expensive camps/lodges. – This is a simple, basic camp for the more budget conscious traveler. Would recommend the two large en suite tents rather than having to use the shared facilities. Very comfortable beds. The food was excellent in view of the simplicity of the camp, tasty, home cooked and plentiful. We took our own meat and combined it with theirs. It was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly, very good, and to be recommended. Kelvin is an excellent host and guide for game drives.” Mary (UK)

Exceptional – Dans le parc, agréable, en toute simplicité, les, garçons cuisinent …” Dominique (France)

Very good – Staff were attentive and excellent, especially toward the baby and toddler in our party. Game viewing in the Camp’s 4wd was outstanding. The arrangement to leave our 2wd at Kelvin’s small hotel in Archer’s Post and connect with the camp’s 4wd was very helpful.” David (Australia)

Value for money – Very nice place, value for money and is exactly what is offered on the pictures. We had a comforting time as our bare necessities were taken care of. Suraj (Kenya)

Very good – Food, staff and service were excellent. Tents were comfortable and clean. Car had a problem on a game drive. I phoned Kelvin and shortly after a mechanic arrived and sorted the problem out. Amazing.” Niels (Kenya)

Very nice – Very nice place. The new ensuite tents are great. Anthony is so kind and helpfull. The only camp with such a particular feeling in Samburu national reserve. Can’t wait to go back.”  Ben (France)

Wonderful – Wonderful place close to river and we can see many wild animals is awesome.”

Yun (China)

One of the best camp in the aera. Nice people, nice location, one of my favorite camp ! Don’t miss this place if you visit Samburu.”  Frank Bordas

“We checked into the camp very late at night and Kelvin, the camp’s owner came to meet us. Wilson, the camp’s host, was very very
helpful
and hospitable. He set us up with Mike, our guide during our game drive.  Mike is a grade one guide who helped us see water bucks,
elephants, cheetahs, lions, zebras and giraffes within the span of an hour.

“According to me just the best place to be in Samburu National Reserve. Warm welcome and the tents are more and more confortable. Nature all arround and you can totaly relaxing 👍🏼 ⛺️🦒🐘”  Sylvie Filleul (France)

Gobsmacking views of the magnificent Ewaso Ngiro. A multitude of animals that quite literally steal away ones breath (and other items from the unwary).  Fine dining of the likes that would shock even the stoic Marcus Aurelius and service the likes of which haven’t been seen before.”  Mafee

“Such a wonderful place to stay. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. Relaxing to just watch and listen to the monkeys and birds.”  Distance Runwear

Wonderful and affordable little camp with large deluxe ensuite tents and smaller ones, each with private bathroom. Newly renovated. Very welcoming owner and staff, delicious food, knowledgeable safari guides, a place to return to over and over.”  Martine
