“Amazing place, highly recommended – Luxury camping with all needed facilities. First of all we want to say a great thank for our romantic diner in front of fireplace. The atmosphere was fantastic! The camp is really cozy. In the tent was very clean. My white socks remained white! The staff was very attentive and gave us good recommendations for our morning game drive. “Great find. True African adventure experience – Very enjoyable and just what we wanted. Had an en-suite tent which was perfect. The staff are really helpful and did everything they could… for example arranging for lunch as a picnic that we took to a glade by the river. This is a great option for a ‘reasonable price’ stay in Samburu. Saw all of the ‘special five’ animals (Ostrich, Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra, Retic Giraffe and Beisa Oryx) but also Greater Kudu, Lion and a Cheetah with three cubs…. Fantastic! “An incredible experience! – It was a surprise, the shower is the typical shower that you can expect of a lodge inside a Natural Park. We were informed that some animals could be seen in the camping. “Was an excellent alternative to staying in expensive camps/lodges. – This is a simple, basic camp for the more budget conscious traveler. Would recommend the two large en suite tents rather than having to use the shared facilities. Very comfortable beds. The food was excellent in view of the simplicity of the camp, tasty, home cooked and plentiful. We took our own meat and combined it with theirs. It was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly, very good, and to be recommended. Kelvin is an excellent host and guide for game drives.” Mary (UK)
